Fun and EASY Storytelling for Everyone A Great way to Use Children's Literature
This is a presentation of Ten Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed at the Children's Discovery Center in Winsted, CT. I think the best part is the reactions and comments of the children!
More than just stories
I call everything a story, just for simplicity and ease of speaking, but there are many poems, songs and nonfiction books that I present on the Apron. I have over 100 stories that I have created and presented over the years!

Let me show you how
Since I give only the occasional workshop now, this website will give you an idea of how to create and present apron stories, with text and graphics of each story explained on these pages. I will also be adding a video of each story when I get that figured out!
Apron stories are not just for lower level elementary school teachers. When I was doing workshops, these three people, a principal, a fifth grade teacher and a Speech and Language Pathologist wrote to me. See what they had to say. They are talking about the workshop, but what they learned was all about Apron Stories and how to do them, so it's basically the same thing.
